- The struggles of the bird for building nest, not knowing where to go, then curled up where caged birds sings, then ultimately finds the book which shows her the way to the Secret River (of happiness) . A superbly crafted poem, thanks for sharing.

i've scritched and i've scratched, so long to build this nest. Twigs, and scraps have always, gratefully wrapped. Some have broke and snapped. I Fell at time or two. Got a little twitterpated. Lost and had to start a new. Curled up where the caged bird sings, Took alittle nap for a year or two. - - - - - - - - A wonderful poem of life's journey
