Where have all the swallows disappeared?
So did all the fiery blossoms of my spring in a huff!
Oh! Who has purloined the fragrance of my days
And the breeze that brought me the warmth of your hug?
Darkness fell at the dawn, know not from where
The sun has exited my days, know not where
With the sweet tenderness of your luscious lips
And the rousing moist softness of your body on mine.
But the fragrance of your dreamy eyes remains
So does the presence of sensuous giggles
The sweetness of roses and jasmine that spreads as you sweat
And the rhythm of your stressful sensual breathing against mine.
And I live!
What is life without love? And the unloved, how do they exist?
Unnikrishnan, You may 'live' for now, BUT i FEAR that if you get TOO AROUSED your 'other body SYSTEMS'' may cease working! ! ! ! ! bri : )
You should be right, Bri. For, I know you write this from your experience (Smiles)
This is such a sensual, synaesthetic poem. Personally, I enjoyed it, thank you!
....AND on your poem's page I just gave it the highest marks possible. Very nice indeed! bri ;)
UNNI, I left this comment & others at the showcase: 'Actually, UNNI, I really think it is a fine success, NOT a poor attempt. It's even, AT LEAST, among the TOP FOUR poems presented here. [that's a joke; laugh now]Thanks. : ) bri '
