Susie.
Our hearts were broken
Not just in two
But totally sha-tt-er-ed
All feeling blue
Our wonderful dog
Susie was her name
Has now departed
After 15 Years were all broken hearted.

I can totally sense the depth of your feeling! The same happened to us when we lost our dog Tippu - a faithful and loving dachhund! Even after years, we miss him! I have dedicated a poem for him - A Tribute to My Dog. I am sorry for your loss!
