Surround Sound Poem by Lindy Jean Kleinhans

Surround Sound

By LJK

Surround sound, I am bound
By white noise's consistent hound
To people, places near and far
Collective gathering of who we are

We are all the same, made up of such
Energies and frequencies get too much
We pour and feed into each other,
sometimes bleed and tend to smother

Those who hear the noises know
that this is where select few go
If they distinguish noise from sound
Balance inward will be found

Break away from daily noises
find yourself, and make good choices
Knowing you've found common ground
Enlighten yourself with surround sound
