I greet thee my dear You are powerful...........Silent Listener
This possesed me into a dream that was epic and great. I have to reread it again to get passed the images you create, for the story underneath. This is a lovely work
Of straynge and half-forgotten gothick mysteries broodeth the mind, turning words sweetly upon the tongue. And as those bitter waters run and trickle through that sleeping land, that land of sleeping dreams, so stirreth the poet's soul, putting firey words to parchment crisp... A beautifuly crafted work, Okoye, reminding me of some of the New England writers of the nineteenth century. Such masters as the great Poe, Hawthorn or Melville. This is the first of your poems I've read, and I am seriously impressed. I hope you will produce plenty more like this, and thanks for making contact.
Now this poem is breath taking and fabulous and majestic! I take off my hat to you.Only you can come up with a true masterpiece like this great poem.Congratulations and well done to you.
