I feel momentarily down in the dumps
Despite the joy of beholding the bloom in the daffodils with special green leaves
And think that unless "I wake up and smell the plasma"
And encounter the roses on the bridle path
Waylaid by daffodils with names of fame or fortune
And I would love refills of lawful and illicit sensual pleasure
I am beset by the thought that I am turning into a fossil
Which is going to be unearthed as reusable engineering material after some more time
But this led to the reality that I have a Biotherm fossil and clay mask and a Clinique and Dermafutura masks
Which I have not used in a long time
Because I use both Clinique facial wash and Lancome exfoliating gel
And I would be giving myself the Cleopatra treatment a little too often
And that would leave my younger engineering girlfriend from Sumatra feel left out
And that would also make the other two girlfriends from graduate school, both not Bohemian like me
But Indo-Canadian and Iranian-Canadian (one younger and the other, officially a year younger)
Quite unhappy with their sedate, scrupulous and school-winning lives
And they would keel over with the burden of having to be good to me.
