Supplications Poem by Sameena Ahmad

Supplications

I plead and pray to God.
In the realm of knowledge, I plead for oceans of depth.
Like rain, shower upon me wisdom.
A roar of thunder drives the darkness away.
Like an overflowing tree, make me generous.
On occasions of improvement, quality should never cease.
In this chaotic realm, make me evocative of peace.
