favorite so far: stanza 4 The above & other stanzas are so apropos with 'c-19'. " Those seven sins, plus many more" let's hear about the many more! Maybe you need to repeat your supplication every month? Did you " hear" back from The Big Guy/Gal? ? to MyPoemList bri :)

Thank you Lora - I loved your supplication you made in this lovely poem. Ignoring us is not the way To have us do your will, ........................................ A warning from your mighty hand Could change the course of things, .......................................... Let us see your might and power, Strike down evil with your hand, ...................... Please don't remain so deaf, dumb and inactive

And the world said AMEN! Surely all of us would like for this prayer to be answered? ! But wait, if God doesn't answer this prayer, if the evil are not struck down where they stand, if peace doesn't come to the world (in a miraculous way) , if a new prophet does not arise condemning sin and healing the sick, working miracles right and left, if Jesus does not return and rapture us all (the quick and the dead) to heaven with Him in our lifetime, does it follow then that God doesn't care, or worse that God doesn't even exist (that God is just a creation born of man's misery) ? If anyone is interested in an answer to this prayer, do a search for God's Response To The Poem ‘Supplication.' I invite any other poet on PH who feels God moving them to action to also post what God says to them on their sites. I feel sure that the creator of the universe has more than just one perspective to this prayer.

Bravo! You gave the Lord plenty to think about. Let's hope He tunes in soon. So far, He's been very, very patient.
