Sunset Few Poem by marc molchan

Sunset Few

sunset few

chimes to tell

chime for thee

winter makes better

song of solstice

tender mercy

cast it's way

forever song

no dismay

our youth

forever young

to be citizen

maybe one

on courage met

so song goes

it's lasting appeal

only knows

courtly ways

ways unseen

pleasantry

kindly distress

many come by

always atone

those days that last

borrow none

one's name

a way from past

is not discussed

cross not path

it comes too soon

that wild stable

journeys not quenching

ride while able

perchance kept

sport a like

the meaning brought

by sun's dance

no quibble part

or part's unfolded

no meaning lost

or chance overlooked

we celebrate

our victories

however few

on one hot day

how knew

to few
