Sunset Clouds Poem by Hassan Jalal Weshah

Sunset Clouds

Rating: 5.0

I owe this passion to the sunset clouds
Those little moles on the sky's pretty face
I owe them a song, a smile, some molds
Of feelings upon me they used to grace
**********
I owe them a song by that fair shepherd
That used to sing for a while and dance
The place by beauty was once covered
With her I had from joys a chance
**********
She used to wink for the leaving sun
And send her smile to the dim twilight
But soon in fact she had to run
All joys were thus delayed, O night!
**********
That fair shepherd abandoned the place
But still her things can soothe my world
Her shadow, her songs, her smiling face
Her coquet guffaw is clearly heard
