Sunshine and showers That's our lives

I feel like I've been walking beside you in those golden fields of golden fields, Shining so bright, walking beside you in your Killeshin hills that are always your certainty In a world of so much uncertainty, and the sun is smiling as we approach your Carlow, as we are on your way home To Graiguecullen on the border of County Laois and on a journey around the roads of Carlow, - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - That is good writing, my dear, to put me on thos e roads between those golden fields of your home... I have never been out of the United States... except everytime I read your poems so rich in sunshine and golden fields and faraway words.... Thank you for the journey and for taking me along as a friend as you contemplate the longevity of your love.... but your closing lines tell me so beautifully that, yes, love blooms and blossoms in the homeland- - We are far from the sea but the incoming tide Is here touching our hearts shore, Love is alive since we opened the secret door To discover we are at the center of nature's healing core
