You wrote this poem the same day as your ecological poem on widespread damage. I'm glad I could read this positive poem in tandem with the warning poem. We NEED to take pleasure and joy in nature so we don't despair. Abandoning hope won't help us or the next generation, but treasuring the wonders of the world will. So your voice is especially lyrical, keep singing the songs we need to hear. BTW thanks for the positive feedback on BETWEEN STONE AND STARS. I have to say I enjoy re-reading that poem myself. It speaks to me, and it has one of the best titles I've ever come up with. When I drive past the church I wrote it in, I just feel... good inside.
