Sun Poem by Yusof Mutahar

Sun

The sun extinguished into the ocean's abode,
Disseminating the red fragrance of light it had borrowed,
My eyes amazed by its radiant twilight,
But nothing prevails but the whisper of night,
All that remains is the black and the white.
Now to stand before my Lord, and let the tears ignite.
