Summer Stroll Poem by Richard Antwi

Summer Stroll

Splendid, sizzling summer
At the overcrowded beach
Loitering, looking and lurking
But she was hustling and bustling
Wallop at each other
She gazed at me
But I stared at her
Asked me ‘why'?
Oh, just looking and lurking for love
Ended in Loveland

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Amazing poem for the ones who are still single. For the ones who are already occupied, or have a steady girlfriend, this poem is not the right one. Your Poet's Notes says this poem goes about people meet their love ones in a strange and bizarre ways, but the problem is that (I cite the words here) " But I stared at her Asked me ‘why'? Oh, just looking and lurking for love Ended in Loveland" Strong suggestion makes the reader think this is about the poet himself.
