Summer's Sole Joy Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Summer's Sole Joy

Rating: 5.0

Under banyan's spread,
Not keen home to head,
Cows find a cool shade,

And chew cud's content—
Grass once gulped and spent,
What else is joy and content?

Joins the shepherd boy,
Any other joy,
This joy's poor alloy!
