Barni, if you ever decide to go into country music, I'd like an autographed copy of your first record. You have a talent for pointing out the things people take for granted-like riding four-wheelers on dirt roads in the summer. I especially like the part about trying not to swallow grass seeds. It reminds me of trying not to breath when I used to have to mow the yard and the freshly cut grass would drive my sinuses insane. Nice.

Amazingly country. Just like you. Which is hard to portray in poetry, but, you did a good job. Barni, I think this poem is amazingly sweet. I like it a lot. You let your roots shine through, and I LOVE IT.
