At least I got the poem on PH, for ALL TO READ and talk about over their morning 'paper' and 'one egg, over easy', ...or over SOCIAL MEDIA! ! and orange juice (6 oz. please) .
I TRIED to edit, to add some definitions and notes and topics which I dared not include when I first submitted this poem. I was 'afraid' PH would object or be overloaded.
I would keep this one simple 'Members of 'other religions' also were, by their leaders, told to pray.' to this 'Leaders of different faiths also instructed their followers to engage in prayer.'
Thanks for the suggestion, but I'll leave it as I typed it at first. My mind is VERY COMPLEX, though my wife may call me: Simpleton. : )
As humans, we are never content with what we receive. We continually request more and more, without any limit to our desires and necessities. Your poem perfectly illustrates this insatiable greed.
Well, MAYBE the humans 'could have' survived a bit longer BEFORE bothering 'God/gods'. Thanks for your interest and comment, Asim. : )
Here in the U.S. we ARE maybe MORE spoiled than you in India who may be having 'temps' in the 'teens', the 110+ teens!
(continued aka cont.) what I see now at 11: 23 P.M.! I will probably eventually 'edit the poem' to include the not-included-yet-but-typed and saved stuff.
It became so tedious to try to get this poem 'published' here, WITH all of my definitions and extra notes, SO I only submitted (cont.)
At some point I DID notice two 'small' typos, but I did not feel like going to the 'trouble' to correct them. At least my wife is gone, so I've had more time on her PC. : ))
