A touching expression on summer heat has been made. The last stanza says much about it. A beautifful poem so nicely executed. Thanks for sharing.10

Feeling the sting and waves of burning heat on my skin reading your poem Valsa. How rapidly the lush green landscape turns brown and so ready to explode into flames in less than a few weeks of dry weather. The trees must surely be shaking in their roots at the thought of a match.

In Southern India summer has arrived, but in Northen India it is still spring, once summer reaches its peak people will eagerly look for clouds to get some relief, Exact description of summer you've given, Sun boils one's head if one goes outside without any umbrella. Lassi and other cold drinks will be in high demad.

The clouds had not shed their tears in a while and the earth shows its dreaded parched and scorched remains. Nature, creatures and humans began to feel the lack of water. Then when it can take no more the clouds will suddenly burst forth and a mist forms and then rain begins to cascade down and richly replenishes the earth. The cracked earth begins to smile again. Very good Valsa!

A brilliant description of a horrid summer portrayed with rich imagery is the least I can say about the poem. A brilliant piece of work.

Drought conditions spreading in many areas of the world are depicted in the poem with vivid clarity. All hopes are for a drop of water to arrive.

After the searing summer heat The welcome clouds will arrive soon In thunderous lightning across the street The falling drops will dance the long monsoon....... Nothing like kerala in the rainy season and nothing more miserable in the summer heat. Very good Poem
