The sheer power of NATURE can be frightening. For myself it is winter that carries this fearsome power. Summer lasts at best three months and then the climate f-a-l-l-s toward the cold season. But through your poem I can sense what I've experienced - HEAT as that potentially destructive force, before which we are helpless and must submit.
May get even hotter with climate change. Nice image and I like the idea of rage as if the sun is punishing us perhaps for abusing the earth.
Is it the same there too! Here the temperature has risen to unprecedented levels! Its over-baked crust hardened to heartless sterility............ All we see is 'heartless sterility'!
