Summer Euphoria Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Summer Euphoria

Rating: 5.0

june's jumping for joy
with brother tom and mary
summer vacation

blooms red peach and cream
early to rise, late to bed
blur of roller skates

games balloons fireflies
the warm starry nights have come
green grass frolicking

cool dip and ice cream
melodic sounds from the bush
sun on every street

Excellent Haïku, summer seems so long ago and so far away.
