for there's this thing dangling in the air
Reach out for God's sturdy rope.

That's really well said. I think faith gives you a solid overall view of life. As you say, YOU HAVEN'T RIGHT TO BRING ANY LIFE TO ITS END. There are rich implications in this statement. We were put into this world by a power beyond fathoming, for purposes we do not fully understand, so we cannot set ourselves up as judges over life.

For those committing suicide, Before you jump from way up high, Before you take that final dive, You denude yourself of human pride;

For how sure can you be that death will take you to a better fate? What if you are plunged into a plight much worse where there's no turning back at any rate! keep it up ;)

Love this very positive take on life. It not only warns against a destructive trend, but also offers an alternative - God. May it touch and save many lives by helping to steer them in the right direction. A wonderful poem.

Great truths in this poem. Most people who commit suicide perhaps do so in a rage of (temporary) insanity. The values and purposes that one holds may be very important. Excellent poem.

A really embracing read, I have face moods where I have felt desperate, but not enough to do myself in, a positive ray, of looking forward to life.

Well, I disagree. I don't have enough courage to commit suicide. But it's better than living with sorrow and pain in the world of suffer. Anyway, I guess you read Shakespeare's Hamlet, and if you didn't, you would like reading it. Specially the part that says: To be or not to be, this is the question. Because your ideas are exactly the same with him. Good luck.
