I wonder if the poet has thoughts of suicide for herself, and, if so, why? or is she making up something, or telling of another’s thoughts/experiences. hmm? I have had suicide thoughts on several occasions in my long life, but [at least at the time] I had rational reasons for such thoughts.
it’s fine with me if someone kills her/himself, but I hope the person gets counseling first, does not botch the job, does not inconvenience others any more than necessary, and YES, leaves others to make their own decisions.
I’m looking for two of Della’s poems to put in my/our Sept. ‘showcase for PH poets’ on my PH site. this could be one of them. hmmm? bri :)
p.s. “it’s” should be “its”
“But no so much as to use your last breath”…..typo (I believe) in this line. :)
an intelligent poem, well written.
