Sugar Bomb Poem by Warri Stanley

Sugar Bomb

Sugar Bomb

All I've is a sug'r bomb.
Ev'n if I lick it, it will still explode.
I wish I could stay alone in venus,
Or in a planet so far away from the sun.
I wish I could've a talking dog,
'Cos I'm tir'd of those my fellows.
In this radius, I came across,
Jakanra,
Morocco,
And mugana.
They'll always provoke me to wrath,
But all I've with me is still sug'r bomb.
Where bees gath'r to make their honey,
I pray thee, Oh Lord cast not thy grenade,
"I'am Adonis,
Who love to shoot stars"
Poetry is the only diction to explicate my feelings.
If I chose jupit'r, there'll be no st'rs,
And if I chose venus,
All I'll see in my blue dreams is,
Ogume,
Sango,
And ishaka,
Mother of the goddess.
But all I've with me is still sug'r bomb.
So I've to held my dreams in my left hand,
A hand very far away from my eyes,
So that I must ne'er go near 'em,
Thou has fix'd thee already bless'd
'Cos all I've is a sug'r bomb.
