Sugar 2 Poem by Adams King

Sugar 2

Rating: 2.5

I'm sure to say if you were to be Christ
Judas wouldn't have betrayed you
Could a man ever think of a worthy price
Suitable enough to purchase you

I'm sure to say if you were to be Christ
The Jews would have offered the world
Yet Judas wouldn't have been so wise
To trade you even with his own words

I know no man who after kissing you
Could bare the thought of trading you
I will give up every dine for a kiss with you
And all my earthly possessions too

You're a price no man can dare to pay
You're a fruit no earthly tree could grow
You're a beauty no painter could paint
You're the sweetest lady I've ever known

You surpass every glowing treasure
In you I find health, my daily medication
What else can I say to rightly measure
You're my prayers and supplications

I would say you're heaven made flesh
A face of beauty that remains forever
A flower in all season good and fresh
I will call you my one and only SUGAR
