Ignorance is the root cause of suffering, Darkness is the absence of light, Suffering is the offspring of darkness, The moment the light of knowledge falls suffering does away with on its own..! ! !

(1) According to the above logic, ignorance and darkness both are responsible for a man's suffering. At the same time it is said that 'Suffering is the real teacher.... to teach us life.... Suffering nurtures the seed of happiness'. I beg to differ. Just as the absence of darkness is light, the absence of ignorance is knowledge or enlightenment.
