Succesful Days Poem by Pierre Rausch

Succesful Days

We're going to miss these crazy miracles
To begin in the gallery's reconfiguration
Deciding to escape that concert
To do a beautiful pose
That was a very specific miracle
I looked at her and nodded
That's your girl over there

You probably don't want to hear this
A few hours to collect my sanity
Sitting between us like heavy fog
I'm sure you look like a lunatic

An ornate candle over the wet bar
With flowers cover the table
Her eyes met mine and the biggest laugh
And grab a flute of campaign

Successful days dancing, successful days watching
One hour of dancing, one hour to watch
I can sense when she shifts closer
Feeling her tongue on mine

You probably don't want to hear this
A few hours to collect my sanity
Sitting between us like heavy fog
I'm sure you look like a lunatic

Successful days dancing, successful days watching
One hour of dancing, one hour to watch
I can sense when she shifts closer
Feeling her tongue on mine

You probably don't want to hear this
A few hours to collect my sanity
Sitting between us like heavy fog
I'm sure you look like a lunatic

Successful days dancing, successful days watching
One hour of dancing, one hour to watch
I can sense when she shifts closer
Feeling her tongue on mine
