Youth is an age for adventure, and the expenditure of much grace. A well-conceived and excellently constructed piece; it conveyed me back to a time when my nerve was greater than my discernment. Bravo, good poet!
and we bared with us no trinkets..........i'd say bore. and Bare means naked, but to bear is to carry something. [thanks, Google] Being a 'dirty old man', i enjoyed: our minds raced to distant vistas to taste sweat waters... or their daughters :) .........to loose my head, or give one............maybe lose my head? I 'love' the alliterations: in wicked gardens... without kind wardens ..........Land ho! bri :)
