Very nice expression of the intensity of stress as how menacing it may be, thanks for sharing
Frontal lobes on fire with stress cool breath disappears. Very beautifully presented poem on stress. Nice one.
One can really experience the intensity of strain in these lines! Very powerful images in epigrammatic brevity! Great write Savita!
Nerves stretched like yarn on weaver's loom. Stress is beautifully described. Next time I am stressed I will imagine this and maybe I will enjoy it. Thank you.
I count seven - give or take - vivid images of stress in your poem. And none of them allow you be be complacent about this mental state which causes (as your images show) so many physical effects. The third stanza in particular strikes me as an overview of what makes stress so debilitating. I'm not sure what the last line means - it may suggest a solution. But for those readers like myself who have wrestled with stress, your poem is valuable to us for clearly, forcefully defining stress. It's out there now - in the open - no longer hiding in our psyches.
A scientific explanation of stress, but being a human we are helpless. A thoughtful poem.
Only Lord Buddha or manlike him can be free from stress. Every one often has to go through this stage and you have brilliantly sketched the picture in a poetic form. It collapse all system of body. A brilliant job.
