Three layer of consciousness........................Thoughts of hidden dimension..........tangible existence and intangible faith..........nice poem
Great poem Abha. A very thought provoking piece of work. Well done. Andrew
Another great metaphorical poem. You use words to maximum effect, Abha, and they stay true...!
The mind is an enigma out which emanate continous streams of finished, semi finished and half finished thought. Emerson says 'In every great work of art, you will find your own rejected thoughts - they come back to you with an alienated majesty' The Stream of Consciousness is indeed one of my favourite subjects - recalls to my mind James Joyce and Aldous Huxley. Your poem is a highly inspired piece and does well to bring out the subtle nuances of the Stream of Consciousness. Enjoyed reading the piece. Thanks
So Many metaphores I would have not thought of and put together to explain this deep concept...but you managed well and your river flows through your pen
when the rich luxury of time coated the human canvas with the three layers of consciousness........the effective focus on litreature has left a lingering mark on the readers mind........hats off to you!
Very provocative piece with a lot of layers. A question, though. The end line. Would it not be better to say 'plays' instead of played? I jus think it skews the rhythm a little, but that's only one opinion. Otherwise a multi-faceted and beautiful piece.
Abha! A very impressive, fascinating and thought provoking write! ! A pleasure to read! ! Best wishes! *10*! ! Friend Thad
wow, well done Abha. this is such a philosophical poem. the words are thought provoking and carries deep sea of meanings in it. its true, in life; s journey we keep on changing paths and jumping from one layer to another according to our maturity, situation and feelings. i really like your opening lines as they are very catchy and force the reader to go on to see what is coming next. since i'm an artist who always throw my ideas on the canvas so i can relate my self to these lines very well. this poem has universal appeal, i must say. take care
Bravo Abha, you are not to far/ The Taoist master Li Hongzhi wrote in his book zhuan falun: it is a produce of the ten cultivations - the Buddhist Monk Mathieu Ricard, A SCIENTIFIC WHO BECAME MONK, wrote: it's depend entirely on chimical processes in the brain In the book, Quantum and the Lotus, Trinh Xuan Thuan, a scientific, in a conversation with Ricard compared it to a subatonic particle. Think twice.
the title reminded me of Virginia Woolf's works. its amazing how our consciousness mooves from one level to another. a chain of associations, we travel back and forth in time. the last two lines are really beautiful. good writing Abha, short and succinct. thanks for sharing.
mystery of human mind and depth of life is depicted in this poem.
Your poem offers the reader a wealth of spiritual philosophy in a few well paced stanzas. Your title would indicate that you allowed the poem to write itself while your pen trusted in that indefinable creative wellspring from which all great literature arises. 'Thus played our life’s orchestra/ In its imperative cryptic wisdom.' is brilliant. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
simply great..gud one!
