Beautiful. What is reached for is not really defined but is a matter of life and death. Then there is the title. Oh my! Robert

This is sweet, the human body as a bridge uniting heaven and earth. Childlike, also profound. 'Love of earth or fear of heaven' is a nice touch. I don't exactly know just how 'a broken compass for a heart' fits. (I'm sometimes challenged by imaginative flights, so it's not necessarily a flaw.)
