Strangest Thing Poem by Walterrean Salley

Strangest Thing

Rating: 5.0

One day, I went to a room
For what reason—I forgot.
I tried to remember,
But as such, I could not.

Then I looked all around
That perhaps I could see
Something “memory-jarring, ”
But it was not to be.

I backtracked to where I was,
And as soon as I was there—
I remembered what I wanted.
My memory had come clear.
