Stranger Poem by Miral El Nahry

Stranger

Endless pain is so sweet from you
I know you hear me,
You pretend you havent got a clue
But im not good enough, I believe
I try to lie but youre too good to decieve
But what if i live to remember this?
I want to forget, the feeling of your kiss

We're so different, but you complete me
When you look unto the world,
I wonder what is it you see
Wont you tell? With thoughts so curled
Dont you smell? The feelings that are burned
Who'd have known id never known you so much?
Though everything we did, my mind you touched
But i think of what comes after
You were such a good actor;
So i call you my stranger.

You're such a flawless stranger i say
Making me live through another day
Though the sunlight burns me thoroughly,
With you id walk on the sun
Nevermind that im history
And more or less fiction.
