Hi, Bri, It's O.K. with your comments. Thanks from the humble Russian. I do mean that I appeal in vain to God. Re: " For nothing to the Lord I call." I think you are quite right as to a comma after nothing.
i left a comment about 10 minutes ago but don't 'see' it yet, here OR in my list of " Postings" . Rats! bri :) let me know if its shows up.
i accept this from the humble Russian, but i do feel the last line of the poem contradicts the second sentence of the Poet's Notes. maybe i misinterpreted this: " For nothing to the Lord I call." i thought it meant 'you'...(maybe it is YOU, maybe not) ...don't call for anything, but apparently it means 'you' DO call, but nothing comes of it, i.e. the Lord gives nothing. i guess i'd put a comma after " nothing" in the poem. bri :)
A well written poem from a wanderer, still retaning faith on God despite all his sufferings. Thanks for sharing this poem.
