If you lived in Carmarthen you surely realised that it had a university campus on College Road (in my day, it was called Trinity College; part of the three-university-conglomeration which included Swansea, Carmarthen and Aberystwyth: the University of Wales) . It had some great staff. My personal tutor (for poetry) was Menna Elfyn. Surely you've heard of her? She is the most translated poet in Wales. A beautiful poet and a very modest person.
