I it a a poem of science fiction or a poem of life and death or about darkness and light , i am not sure. But poet's love for this earth is apparent in the poem when he says- - I want to be reborn as a child to this place. I want to assume my place in this nature....
I like the line, make it light to my touch, weightless to my sight. Thanks for sharing..
To see life through an astronaut's eyes, it's an amazing poem. How one might feel, stranded in space, away from the comfort and warmth of home, it's all so realistically drawn. I feel for the astronaut who for the sake of human progress leaves the beautiful earth to live a solitary life in the weightlessness of space. A profound work. It makes the reader love the earth more. A huge 10.
