Story Of A Racer & Explorer Poem by Sumita Jetley

Story Of A Racer & Explorer

Two friends set out, one bright, one bold,
In cars with stories yet to unfold.
Samir in Flash, sleek, fast, and red,
Riya in Trailblazer, steady instead.

Samir raced forward, the road smooth and wide,
Speed was his game, with no care to hide.
Riya trailed gently, her pace steady and slow,
Prepared for the journey, wherever she'd go.

The highway turned rough, with bumps in the way,
But Samir pressed harder, wanting to stay.
Yet Flash was too brittle, not built for the fight,
And soon it was stuck, in mud, out of sight.

Riya came by, with a smile, not a care,
Her Trailblazer strong, she was fully aware.
Through winding paths and rugged terrain,
Her car kept moving, through sunshine and rain.

At the end of the road, who reached there first?
Not the one who'd sped off, eager and burst.
But Riya, the one who had patience and skill,
For resilience won where speed never will.
