Came into my world with a bang
Showered me with pleasant rain.
Sliver diamonds lined my skin,
From all the promises you made.
All the pretty things you whispered
Sparkled in the core of my eye.
Embraced me in a warm hold
Your hands held my fragile mind.
Listened to the songs from the rain,
Falling so clear down your face.
Never waiting for the dawn to break,
You were what I thought I was waiting for.
As quickly as you came to me,
You were out in a colorful show.
Rumbling thunder from your hasty retreat,
Should have foreseen the pain; the lies
You were a storm that had just been brewed.
Waiting for the perfect spot.
To let all the lovely things you lied so hard for,
To come crashing down on your will.
Now you're gone; with a trail of hate.
Look behind you;
And see the beautiful disaster you have made.
