Stormy Day Poem by Jordan Aston

Stormy Day

A storm is howling
Though for some it's singing
It's singing it's beautiful melody
To express the falling rains tragedy

The rain was stuck in the sky
A thousand metres up its waiting to fly
Fly down to earth and splash us as is their way
This very day they wondered is today the day?

The day the clouds open it's gates and release a torrent of rain
And as the rain tumbles down it's droplets fall into a lane
On this lane the wind has already struck
But the second round is up to rain and for people this is bad luck

The people sigh and wonder when the storm will end
As the storm wreaks havoc on things people have to mend
The storm finally ends and people exit their abode
And by the end of the day nothing seems wrong except the drops of rain still left on the road.
