Love the beautiful and picturesque landscape you have etched in my mind with you delicate, yet vivid imagery! Another amazing poem, brilliant with a gap of time to haunt our intellect. Really great poem! Thank you for sharing it. RoseAnn

Thank you for reading! I've been thinking about trying to insert a stanza between the penultimate and last stanza, to try and bridge the gap of time, so to speak, as the last stanza tries to hark back on an older time, perhaps that remains and/or concurs with the poem's 'present.'

Loved this beautiful poem. Sitting by the fire and watching the embers burn next to a stormy cove. Singing songs and reveling in the darkness lit only by the fire. Enjoyed this.
