I STOP / AND... / LET EVERYTHING / RAIN DOWN ON ME. This is a poem about life's persistent hardships but there is no negative emotion you add to the burden so you are uniquely f-r-e-e. Letting things rain down on you is not a defeat or a surrender. You are giving negativity free rein to spend itself and simply - vanish. It takes courage and inner strength to do that. So the upshot of this is that you know you are equal to the world's challenge. WOW that's a victory of knowing the truth.

This really gets to me, Nika. I've just lost my little cat and I feel exactly as you describe with your true depth of feelings. This is a very fine poem and I'm going to put it in my favourites.
