Storm Poem by Seshendra Sharma

Storm

O storm where are you going?
What a peaceful cover
Your face is to you
You possess one heart
Where do you hide
So many wounds?
In defeat not a sigh
Not a curse
Except cold winds on your road,
Except lumps of blind light,
In victory, no claps no rejoicing -
Only the applause of wall - posters
And the reckless laughter of solitude
From your pages
Which you uncovered
Letters flew away like birds
Only meanings remain
Like milestones in a desert -
- - - -
