Stop And Wonder Why Poem by Paul Warren

Stop And Wonder Why

What would the world do
If my time on earth was through
Would it stop and wonder why
It was my time to die

If today was my faithful day
Would I wonder why I couldn't stay
For life can be such a fleeting thing
And each moment I feel the magic that it brings

If the world feels each passing
For there is sadness in its asking
There would be no reason to stop and stare
Just remember me and I was there.
