lovely poem. I recently wrote a short story on the same theme.
Oops! ! When I typed story, my mate's tablet changed story to stolen, : ( bri
Of bees.... perhaps. You DID use of in the welcomed poet's note, so I guess just an oversight in the email I may never have used the verb 'rue', though I've heard it used sometimes, so I had to look it up in a paper dictionary to see that your usage was correct. Bingo! A perfect word to use. This brings to mind the stolen of the man who RUED having no shoes. Then he saw a person with no feet. This is another for MyPoemList. Thanks. Bri :)
Human nature! ! ! Without mercy. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
That is the way of life- those who have the right to everything. A true depiction the history of mankind and the contemporary social reality. Touching.
Your choice of technique increased the impact of that savaging of a honeycomb and those thousands of nature's friends and helpers. I wonder how the world will be changed by the indiscriminate killing of bees by men such as these and the use of pesticides. We were supposed to take care of Earth not destroy it.
Reading your poem, I feel how similar are our feelings! I too have treated the same theme in a different way, and came to a resignation almost similar as this! The poem is titled Resignation! Yes, when we think of the loss of others, we come to realize that our small losses are nothing compared to theirs! This thought helps to get easily reconciled with our loss! Thank you Bharati!
The garden brings such simple pleasures to have it damaged and then the breakage of the honeycomb. Your have displayed your heart. Beautifully expressed
Woah thoughtprovoking poem written creatively! Impressive thoughts. Yay we steal much frm nature. Take care pal.
Careless handling will ruin the resources and treasures irrespective of the work behind it
Thank you for your kind comment. It helps to see the things in a new light.
The bigger picture brings true focus, lovely poetry: -)
