Very poignant poem which carries all of the emotions of loss. With the use of rhyme and rhythm the poetess has surpassed quality by managing intricate details within the tight framework. I love the poem. Thank you for inviting me to read your version of these tragic events. I will cherish this poem too. Hop to read more of your work when I find some moments to read through. Lovely work Valerie. Well done.

Perhaps your sweet, flowing poetry has been enhanced by the stings of fate-A tragic lament but needed

So much of our lives depend on the happiness of our children.no one knows grief like the mother who has lost her newborn.i feel that this poem was written with great tenderness and real empathy.it never ceases to amaze me, how tragedy can illuminate the beauty within the human spirit.

Valerie, You said this was not autobiographical and I am glad of that. However, what a beautiful poem and a well crafted and loving and delicate piece. Love sleeps eternal in that silent heart.
