Still Young Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Still Young

Rating: 4.0

The little girl with the doll!
You are still young and can still dream;

Taking the wrong train can sometimes lead you to your destination,
However, you still have to learn from the elders around you.

The sea of silence,
The love of peace;

Nature's rule,
The laws of nature;

Let the truth teach you what righteousness is,
Than to burn in your lust.

Bar, bard!
To the loved ones on the earth;

Tell me what you did today and,
I will give you the best advice.

Art, bart, dart, cart, chart, part!
With the language of love;

Tip, top, tap!
A young girl that you are;

Trying to understand the world around you today and,
To grow up.

' Taking the wrong train can sometimes lead you to your destination, ' - this is a wise line. I believe many can relate to it.
