When I searched for love
Like a rainbow
I saw different colours
But when I saw you
I saw the right colour
I saw burning love in your eyes
My heart beat for your heart
Pounding heart to heart
You may not be a beauty queen
But you are more beautiful
Than a beauty queen
You're still the one I love
You may not be wealthy
But your love is wealthier than wealth
You're still the one I love
You may not have catalogues of degrees
But I'm okay with the one you have
You're still the one I love
Sometimes your weakness
Puts me off
Though I know
There is a weakness in all of us
I can bear it still because
You're still the one I love
Even when they tried
To murder our love
Our love resurrected
And sprung sharper
Like the bright morning star
You're still the one I love
Even if lovers
Stop loving themselves
My love for you will not stop
Our love will continue
Ticking fast like time clock
Because you're still the one I love
