Still Slumbering Poem by Zyw Zywa

Still Slumbering

Still slumbering I let me
pull into the day
I hear, there is not much
exterior world yet
No twittering birds

no background noise
only the square of the window
on the curtain getting clearer
it shines through
my eyelids

I feel my feet
They are awake, I turn
around, my legs
don't want to
get out of bed yet
