On a white porcelain plate
A bunch of green translucent grapes,
Two Washington apples with a knife -
Scene from still life.
Yellow bananas poking out
Of a bamboo wicker bowl,
Firm, sleek-skinned, glowing -
Lighting up the soul.
In a saucer, sitting tight,
A dark purple plum
(Swelling with pride)
Screams for a bite.
Like the choice of title and the flow of words to to link the title, the fruits and your precision. Thanks for making me read this. such a beautiful piece.
