Still Alive. Poem by Nidhi Agrawal

Still Alive.

My lips refuse to smile
they're lonely without you
My lips refuse to scream
They're waiting to meet you.
With nothing left to claim
they remain pursed in silent pain
Sometimes soaked in tears
they only breathe in whispers.
But often let out a sad sigh
To let the world know
they're still alive.
