A child begins with eyes so wide,
Curious heart, no thought to hide.
Observant gaze at earth and sky,
Each question asked, a whispered why?
With fearless steps, they leap, they dare,
Chasing dreams without a care.
They stumble, falter, learn through pain,
Mistakes become a teacher's chain.
Yet in the shadows, hands extend,
A parent's voice, a faithful friend.
To guide, to guard, to show the way,
Through darkest night, to brighter day.
For though the path is theirs to take,
With trials faced and choices made—
Love's gentle light, a beacon true,
Will shape the soul, and see them through.
